Withington Assist is a community and voluntary organisation based in Withington, South Manchester. Our priorities are to reduce social isolation in the community by providing activities and services, and volunteering opportunities to enable people to continue living independently.
Running since 1969 we have helped hundreds of older people living locally through befriending, attending social activities and support services. As we are a small, local organisation, we are only able to take referrals for our volunteer support services (driving/befriending/odd jobs etc) for those living in the Withington area aged over 65. Donations, however small, are always welcome.
